The black lower paint belt isn't a big deal to me. It is just a designer's visual trick to make the car look less bulky (i.e. more like the 1970).

Also, why does the spoiler look "cheesey"? It is no different than the one that was on the 1970 T/A.

Re: Production Challenger Spotted today. Naked!

I'm with Cuda340. I did some serious praying that it would be offered with a T/A style spoiler. It could be an inch taller, though. But that's where the T/A 6.4 option comes in. Taller spoiler, drag pack, no radio, no a/c, no sound deadening material, no power anything. Beep Beep Beep Beep !!!! Oops, time to get up. Wow! What an awesome dream. I was dreaming that Dodge actually built a Challenger the way I WANT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rear spoiler I don't mind, although I would rather not have it. The concept car had very nice lines regardless of it's tallness which I did not mind. When the design is "right" it doesn't need spoilers and paint trickery to make it look right.

The front spoiler looks like what yo boy has on his silver Honda civic but the loser can't afford to get it painted. Super Cheesey!

If they would allow us to option the way we want none of these issues would be a big deal. For $40,000 that is the way it should be.

At least its not as big as the spoiler on a GTO. I think the short spoiler looks good on the car.

To see a great high resolution photo of the rear and driver side of the 2008 SRT Challenger, see:

Re: Production Challenger Spotted today. Naked!

ok. I know most people don't care about this but I HATE the door handles used on the production car.
