Wink Production Timetable Moved UP?

The past rumor has been the the Challenger will appear in showrooms in either January or April 2008.

I found these two posts on www.NewHemiTech.com, on February 9, 2007 concerning the production status of the Challenger:

"Prototype floor pan cell welded up TODAY X3, for a run of 140. Installing cell brampton plant June/July six week ramp-up."

"Told to me by a VERY reputable source:
LX = 300C, Magnum, Charger

LC = Challenger (4" shorter, same front cradle, same rear cradle, no all wheel drive. 5.7L and 6.1L Hemi, Viper 6 speed Manual, 2 disk clutch)

CY = Imperial (Also being built at Brampton) 3" longer than LX same components.

The Mules* will be built in April and July, with full production in April 2008.

The current LX / LC will be built until 2009 then a new one comes out. "

Will the new platform in 2009 house the 6.4 Hemi?

*Mule= Prototype vehicle
