Putting the Dealer to the test - Part Deux

Well, oh little confinence i have in my dealer ship.

Yesterday as you may know from my first posting, I stated I want to make a change in my order since sitting at BG since 8-14, ordered 6-18. So after calling my sales guy 'don' he said ok and he would call back to confirm. Well he called back and said the sales mgr called chrysler and said he needed a car buildt NOW and that I would go to D1 tomorrow. That was yesterday.

Today, im on and off this site then got caught up with work. Didnt think much about it. Got home and low and behold a message on my answering machine. It was sales mgr! He got me a new von and a vin! and im sitting at D1. I called chrysler to confirm and Hadji confirmed the dealership and the von number and vin number and status. Now according to winvin this car should be unloaded at my dealer on the 29th of october.

WTF!

I guess the old adage is true..."no ask, no get" I'm not a fan of the sweeky wheel gets the grease. I tell people the sweeky wheel gets replaced.

If this happens and comes true within a week, I would buy my manager a cigar, then ask about the other car in my name.

New VON?

The sales manager basically gave you someone else's canceled order or one of their dealer stock that they were getting

Grats either way, though! Good stuff!
