Reggie Jackson’s Plum Crazy 1970 Dodge Challenger 426 Hemi with only 398 original mil
Happy Monday to everyone. Let’s start Monday right off with a bang. While perusing around this morning on EBay Motors for the latest deals, I was shocked to find a super rare classic 1970 Dodge Challenger for sale. However, rarity doesn’t even begin to describe this car. First off, it’s an original 1970 Plum Crazy Dodge Challenger R/T. OK, that’s pretty rare. Next, it’s an original 4-speed 426 HEMI Challenger R/T. OK, that’s even more rare. Next, it only has 398 original miles on it. That’s super rare now. Then, its current owner is Mr. October himself, Reggie Jackson. Unbelievable! Check out the link below and see for yourself. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/70-Dodge-Challenger-RT-426-Hemi-4-spd-398-Act-Miles-WOW_W0QQitemZ220564278447QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Car s_Trucks?hash=item335aa7ccaf

The streets in my subdivision are named after ball parks and famous ball players. I could buy it and move around the corner to Reggie Jackson Place. The whole subdivision was named after Nolan Ryan.
we have Nolan Ryan Blvd. , Roberto Clemente Way, Yogi Berra Way, Whitey Ford Way,.and so on.

How does a car with only 398 miles on it have the drivers side carpet look like that.
My Challenger has 6000 miles on it and gone through two Canadian winters and the carpets look new.
I have had a few rare Mopars in my day, and I am done with that. I love the old cars but life is too short to be sitting at a car show. I am only spending my money to drive fast.
Starting bid $169K, don't think so.

I say bullshyte on the 398 miles.
It looks to me like the car has sat a long time in storage. It's nice, but not exactly mint like the ad states. Also, it's a shame to see components on the undercarriage starting to rust. You can't just let cars sit in storage. Cars like those especially take a lot of constant maintenance and upkeep. Believe me, I know firsthand!
Also, the 398 miles could definitely be legit, especially if the car was drag raced only. It may never have even been registered for the street.

Reggie is always hanging out at the Mecum auctions. Wonder why he doesn't sell it there? Looking for more money I guess.

About two years ago I got to go in that warehouse and I sat in the seat of that beauty... I almost passed out from the experiance...LOL, that was a great day indeed...

I think that is more "dirt" on the carpet than wear...people walking through his dusty azz garage and sitting in the Challenger with dirty feet...he should have put some mats on the floor...says alot about Reggie...he likes collecting cars...but does he really appreciate them...I say not.
