Four door Chargers are not selling well in Australia. So guess what, they want to import the new Challenger and rebadge it as a Charger!

"A classic Chrysler could make a comeback Down Under, but not in its proper modern form. Chrysler's Australian arm has expressed a desire to bring the two-door 300C-based Challenger here and rename it the Charger. But that sits uneasily with Chrysler in the US, where the four-door Charger is sold alongside the Challenger.
The name switch is plausible and likely to receive greater attention here considering the four-door Charger is a no-goer for Australia."

!! First off, it's a Dodge, not a Chrysler. 2nd , It's not or won't be based on the 300C platform.It'll be a shortened one :aka LC body !! 3rd, the new Chrysler would not allow such shah-nan-agans ; taking another model's name and badging onto another . That Mate 
better keep giddying up on the Kangaroos with a six-pack ... of Foster's that is
