Re: Return of the Chrysler Pentastar !?! :)
The ram's head logo has no more business on a Mopar muscle car than the over-used "cross hair" grill that's been "rammed" down our throats across the entire product line. It looks pretty good on the Charger (IMHO), but enough already! Maybe these new owners will return some pride and tradition to the Chrysler brand. I bleed "Corporate Blue" (for those who remember what that is), not "Ram Red."

Re: Return of the Chrysler Pentastar !?! :)
I agree with Mopardude. If it weren't for the K-cars, minivans and derivatives, we probably wouldn't be looking forward the the Challenger's rebirth!!!! I had a Reliant (my first new car). It was a great little car, but it died at the hands of a cement block truck in a rear end collision. I got close to 40 mpg on the highway in that little car back in the mid-80s. djd's turbo

Granted the K-cars weren't a stylish model or a large and/or luxury car like the 50's & 60's Newports ,Imperials etc. : but they weren't suppose to be.The same holds true for the Omni's and the Horizon's,which by the way :in its very first year of production-1978- the front wheel drive Dodge Omni sold 189,000 units
and the European version, badged as the Chrysler Horizon, was voted European 'Car of the Year' ! !! They were for better mileage and practicallity ! The minivans too ! They are what carried Chrysler through the gas wars and other hard times; something that Mister Lee Iococca can be proud of : the true Leader he was and still is !! ! |

The early 90's the divisions started useing there own logo again the Ram head for Dodge The sailboat for plymouth and the gold seal for chrysler the wings were added to the seal when Damiler took over
