Saw the challenger at the Texas State Fair
Well, I went yesterday and saw the car at the state fair yesterday. It is really something to finally see it. They also had the ford gt500 there, the chevy comaro there as well.
Getting back on topic though, the car has huge wheels. You really cant appreciate them until you see the car up close, and the brakes are good as well. I love the tail light and how muscular the car looks. I also like the exhaust on the vehicle and how it was mounted. The undercarrage looks well laid out too. On the flip side I really didn't like the headlights because they looked cheap in my opinion. Plus the carbon looked fake and from a long term perspective cleaning the front of that car would be a PITA. I really didn't like the gauges in the car or the dash layout. Its a awesome car to look at, however it did let me know I am going to go ahead and buy a charger srt instead. Keep in mind these are just personal opinions so it is not intended as a flame if you do not agree. I just like the charger's lines better. The camaro looked good, but the instrumentation was retro and haven't decided how I feel about all the gauges being in the center of the console where you would normally have the cigarette lighter in the dash. Otherwise a sharp car. |

Re: Saw the challenger at the Texas State Fair
That's funny - I was there Wednesday the 11th and there wasn't a Camaro or Challenger. There was a ho-hum GT500 and two Vipers.
