Saw a parked Chally RT w/M Plates & manual tranny last night.

I couldn't believe it. I saw the sexy rear end of a Challenger parked in the street last night!! I got up closer and it looked a little different. Round exhaust tips, not square... and NO SRT badge! I go to the front and it has the red R/T tag where the SRT one should be! I peeked into the cabin to look at the shifter, and it was conveniently completely covered by a velcro nylon cover! Why would the entire car be in the open, except the shifter?? Obviously because it was a manual with the pistol grip shifter! It looked pretty BA!

can you check the pic's post here from the Philly show and give an idea if the car is production or concept. How could they let the car be shown with the gap in the trunk seam

Re: Saw a parked Chally RT w/M Plates & manual tranny last night.

Well, it looks really close. But I think the spoiler was a different color (not grey). And obviously didn't have the SRT8 logo. There was no logo on the back (except DODGE in the center). But the front had the red R/T logo like on the back of the 2007 Charger RT Road & Tracks. Oh yeah, and had the CHALLENGER logo on the front.

And, big difference, round chrome tail pipes. not square! And like I said, the entire center console was very deliberately covered by a big black nylon cover...

i didn't have the trunk closed all the way, when that was taken. i was swapping out the black silky at the time, or putting it in. the guy taking the photo then wanted the trunk open to take a couple photos.

The trunk spoiler is suppose to be body color for R/T '09s
This I like - them covering the Console means they are changing it from the out-of-place SRT8 one haha !! Do I hear Concept Console (please tell me I am)

Re: Saw a parked Chally RT w/M Plates & manual tranny last night.

I think the best thing that dodge can do is install the concept dash. The style added just enough of the modern touch to balance the retro body.
If I had a choice as an option I would choose the concept console.
OH YA BABY
