not sure how quoting ross perot, who never did get elected, regarding NAFTA and free trade, is political - what has happened was predicted by wise people - Americans don't generally elect wise folks - what they say is too un-PC. regarding Chrysler: Prior to the merger with Mercedes, Chrysler had about 20 billion in reserves. when they emerged from the merger, that cash had been stripped from the company. Germans are not stupid, but are rather ruthless (you don't start 2 world wars in 1 century without being ticked off about something - or perhaps everything).

Actually it was the assissination of the Archduke in Austria-Hungarian lands (later Yugoslavia etc...) that started WWI, and then the horrendus treaty Germany signed citing them as the (false) reason that plunged Germany into the 1930s politics and WWII. No, I'm not German or neo ... just an American.

And yes, I agree with your comments on Mercedes and the 20 Billion. ..."What Would GI Joe Say About A German Jeep?".

So, again what is this new Barracuda going to look like? Anyone know or seen some renderings? We are in the 2013 model year already. Methinks the Challenger is around until 2014 in current form? Anyone know for sure?

What Germany couldn't accomplish in two WW's, they've accomplished economically: domination of Europe.

False indeed. Germany, on the occasions of both WW's, was actively seeking reason to initiate aggression.

Not ... Read your History Book or Google what started WWI . . . True, it was aggression in the 1930s, particular 9/1/39, which started WWII in Europe but it was the Treaty of Versallis and 1930s politics that lead to everything.

If you look at history, everything starts 20 years before that sets up the event which is remembered. Just look at Reaganomics (TrickleDown Economics aka VodooEconomics The Frist President Bush phrase for it) in the 80's only too see the effects today.

I wasn't saying your statement was false, I was referring to your comment about Germany's false reasoning for initiating aggression. I've read my history books & I invite you to do more of the same. Germany had long been seeking justification to become an invading force & the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria provided just that. Likewise, later it had long been seeking an opportunity to abrogate the Treaty of Versailles.

They say muscle car wars is going to end every year. Yet every year we get better cars. Look at the other guys, Ford has a freakin 662HP Shelby and Chevy has a 580HP ZL1. Whats stopping those guys?

I don't know about you, but I'm ready to move to Texas! How many people can they fit there because it's about to get a LOT more crowded?
