So true 425 most not all 2009 SRT8's have been called for already and every order in before the cut off number will be built...So you guys with Vons are sitting pretty especially the first series von's..

...the cars aren't necessarily produced in VIN# order...a good place to watch VIN#s is EBay.....gives you a good idea what numbers have been produced and delivered

...mine went D1 about 2 weeks ago and was built 5-29...it hit KZ today....ETA dealer is 6-09-08.....hope to see it this week

Good to know. What is a VON? Vehicle Order Number? Dealer has that by default? I think the computer was down supposedly when I called last. I need to confirm they arent being dumb. I have bought a dozen cars from them over the past 10 or so years and my wife worked there, hence "know" the owner so I dont think I will get screwed, but orange I must have.

I would get an 09, I decided the 08 SRT in limited run is the way to go, simply put, limited runs usually hold value better. Tell someone they can't have it and they will pay to do so. Usually.

Ill take the trak pak over a limited car any day I plan on taking this bad dude to the track.
Limited means at some point you'll park it and watch it sit so not to rack up miles on that limited beast,to each there own of coarse we each have plans for these cars some different than others good luck on the 08...

I'm sooooo driving my '09 Challenger when I get it. I plan on it being a family heirloom... something my kid can have when he's old enough... say... 35+!?!?! He can overhaul it with a HEMI electric or hybrid fuel cell if he wants to! lol If he winds up liking Fords, I'll just get buried in it.
