The stripes on a 392 are nothing more than a rallye style stripe common on many cars.
They are not unique to the 392 challenger and therefore putting them on a SE is not copying a 392.
Consequently putting a R/T badge on a SE is absolutely, totally, and 100% without question different than adding stripes
we all know what i mean by 392 stripes...in the challenger world they are unique to the 392

yes they make a SE with somewhat similar stripes from the factory....they are similar but not the same

and i see no difference in trying to make a base model car look like the top model...whether it be a badge or an appearance package....copying is copying......when the only difference is a 3" piece of plastic on the grill then there is no difference

Clearly I need more beer for your logic to make sense to me...
If those stripes are so unique in the challenger world why do you need a license plate advertising a HEMI 392?

I wouldn't upbadge my 2011 R/T Cobra SXT Cleveland Hemi Challenger...... but I did use a crayon to change the manufacturer date on my title to 1971.

392 stripes are more exclusive.

they taper ever so slightly from the top of the car down to the front bumper.....

this was covered in another thread, but i'm too lazy to look for it

OK you got me...the 392 stripes are in fact very, very exclusive and I concede they only look like 99% of all the other rallye type stripes on the planet

It has LONG been the norm that Mustangs have two stripes, covering bumpers/spoilers/front valence AND the roof.

It has LONG been the norm that Chevrolets have stripes that do NOT EVER EVER EVER go over the roof. On top of that, they also do not go on the bumper or anything else down low.

Now along comes Dodge and they put two stripes with a "TM" (trademark) narrowing on the front so as to call for exclusivity? Bahahahahaha.... Yeah right.

What Dodge can claim are the side stripes and wild numbering of their motors on the sides. Otherwise, stripes were never really all that for Dodge until the Viper came along. At least that car had the gonads to handle the stripes.

Enjoy your cars people!! Don't listen to others. Heck, I give thumbs up to guys who mount wooden daytona wings on their 4-door GMCs.
