Supporting Vendor

What does it take to become a supporting vendor here? We have a salesman at our local dealership who is interested after he learned that the dealership (before he was there) missed selling us our Challenger. He got us our door sills at his price and is interested in building up his clientele. I was going to name him and the dealership, but that wouldn't be right unless he signed up as a supporting vendor. Thanks for the the information.
