Tell Dodge you want the Challenger in production NOW!!!

here is some inside info for you guys. dodge is going to produce the challenger unless some poor quarters hit them sometime soon. working at a tool and die shop that does lots of work for DCX. We are in the process of getting the data to design dies to produce parts for the bracing in the car. if you dont believe that my friend works at a company that produces racks for painting and coating lines and they have got jobs that are for the challenger. looks like they will produce but have not released that info to the public to cover any problem or reason they may cancel it.

this tells of the challenger being on the books as a good chance of production in 07 or 08 so it would be the 08 or 09 year models.

Even though, I'd still "keep up the pressure" and submit requests for the vehicle. Of course, I won't repeat myself to Dodge but anyone else who hasn't voiced their opinion, keep up the fire!!!! We want Dodge to produce this animal!!!

My response was similar, but as you can see, she also responded to my additional request for a 2 door Charger ala '68 or '69. I doubt that it will happen though. By the way, I had sent my E-mail to DCX before this thread was started, and received a reply the same day, Jan 4th.

I also shot DC a letter the day the challenger debuted at the show. The response was corporate boilerplate, but you know they read each and every email and probably have compiled and tallied a list of every single requested feature... ie, shaker, go wing, rally mags, paint schemes, the whole enchilada. This is evidenced by the customized letter in the last post. Your letters definately matter.

I haven't been as excited about a concept car since I was a teenager. This car is what loving muscle cars is all about!!! If Dodge can piece it all together and create a production version that very closely resembles this concept version aesthetically with the powerplant to match it's natural sovereignty, I predict it will be a best-seller heading to the muscle car history books. I've already told my wife I'll own one if it makes it to production. I can't wait!
