Unofficial 2008 Challenger Tracker
As threads always start with "Let's track XXXX car" later on and I am interested (I assume others are too) to see where everyone is at in terms of waiting on their car. I've written a basic script that allows 2008 Challenger soon-to-be-owners a page to put in their information.
The information is able to be updated, sorted, and basic statistics given about the list. If it starts to get used to any reasonable degree I'm all for expanding its functionality. If you have a 2008 Challenger on order, take a few seconds to register and punch in your car's info: Unofficial 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Tracker It literally takes less than 30 seconds to put your car on the list. If you have a feature you want me to add or you experience a problem with the system, let me know. |

Re: Unofficial 2008 Challenger Tracker
GREAT job!!!! Do you plan to add "Build Date", perhaps to eventually replace the "Status" column? One other suggestion would be to use an orange background for the Hemi Orange listings in the "Color" column, and to use the existing Silver and Black backgrounds for the respective Brilliant Black and Bright Silver entries in the Color column.
Also, the "State" column should have uniformity, requiring the two-letter codes first (NY, IL, WY, etc.). Canada could be "CN", Mexico "MX". I would also suggest a separate column for State/Prov. and a separate column for City. When this list grows to hundreds, and eventually thousands, it will make it really easy to sort by City or State to see how many Challengers end up in different regions. |
