Everything listed there is all user provided so there's really no ability to 'check' for legitimacy on it. It's possible, but then again you see people who have put in a Service Date (The date they started putting it into service, i.e. driving it) and obviously no one has their car yet.

Hopefully everyone keeps it honest and updated, but the information on the registry is only as good as the people who provide it.

How do I register?

I changed my order to an 09.....orange, mygig, sunroof, tires.....

Just pick a user/pass you want to use for the registry (something easy to remember) and fill out the user/pass box at the top. Instead of hitting Login, hit Register. That wil automatically create your new account and log you in. From there you'll see a "Create a Car" button and you can create your registry entry.

I'll be expanding the registration system soon over the next week to allow for putting in your email so you can perform a password reset and all that if you forget it. Right now I have to manually reset peoples logins

Should be pretty straight-forward.

I revamped the register form so that it involves supplying an email address as well. This will now allow users to automatically reset their password if they forget it using the accompying password reset form. Once less action I have to perform manually

You can now also perform a password change/email change at will through the "My Account" link.

nice addition. but i have one question, why is there 3 drop down menus for sorting the data?

You can sort by multiple criteria.

For instance you could select "Trim" in the first field, "Status" in the second, and "Order Date" in the 3rd. Then select DESCENDING sort.

It would first sort everything into their trim, so you'd get

SRT8
SE
R/T

within each of those groupings they would be sorted by their status code

then within each grouping of status codes (like each grouping of C and D and D1) they would be sorted by their order date.

It just allows you to further sort things down by multiple criteria.
