Re: Vanishing Point

If you like that movie, then also buy Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry. It stars Peter Fonda and a 68 charger.

In one scene they use a '68 Charger but for most of the movie it's a '69 Charger but you're right, that is the coolest movie ever. If u like G.T.O.s then check out Two-Lane Blacktop.

Re: Vanishing Point

Roadhouse is one of the best five movies ever made. I've watched it all 437 times it's come on TNT and will continue to.

i've never really seen the whole thing of Road House, I think Patrick Swayze has a nice '65 Riv in it, I used to own a '63 Riv btw, but is it really a Car Chase Movie?

Re: Vanishing Point

No. Roadhouse is not a car chase movie.... its just 80s cliche which translates to awesomeness.
There is a monster truck in it though.
It f-ing rules.

That sums it up nicely. I love Swayze's character for the same reason I love Eastwood westerns. He's quiet and avoids violence until it is unavoidable and then puts his victims in a world of hurt. One of my other favorite movies is Eastwood in "The Outlaw Josie Wales."

Edit: Oh yeah, the other great thing about 'Roadhouse' is that Sam Elliott is in it. He makes every movie he's in a great movie.
