Thumbs down Very disappointed with Dodge with Challenger.

Two largest auto shows in Florida, and Dodge has yet to bring the Challenger here. The SFIA is one of the largest in the nation, and they choose to ignore it.

GM has had the Camaro out here twice, likewise with Ford and GT500.

Very disappointed.

Re: Very disappointed with Dodge with Challenger.

The new challenger is going to be so much hotter and more powerful than the fords and chevys that dodge knows they dont need to let it out of its cage until later.... GT500's will be on used car lots everywhere!

Re: Very disappointed with Dodge with Challenger.

I am hoping it will be at the Central Fla. show in Orlando at the end of November. I would sure like to see one in person. But if past experience holds true, it doesn't look good!!!! Ouch!!!! djd.

Re: Very disappointed with Dodge with Challenger.

GT500 is overhyped (in stock form that is.. modded ones will be insane)

Camaro is too 'futuristic' for me.

The Challenger is perfect. I've seen it in person and I feel that there's NOTHING wrong with it!

I'm with you on your assessments. The Challenger is just nice in person. It's got some good lines and isn't following the too "creasy and sharp" look of the Camaro. I think the Mustangs look better than the Camaro - but the 'stang is gonna be an old car here soon - they're gonna have to jump on the redesign bus!

The first Challenger I see sitting on a dealer lot is gonna make me go

Re: Very disappointed with Dodge with Challenger.

I think the GT500 is also overpriced...hopefully they can sell the challenger in the 30-35k price range...

Re: Very disappointed with Dodge with Challenger.

After seeing the Camaro in person finally, I can say that it's not a TERRIBLE looking car, just not what I want in a 'pony' car. The mustang and Challenger relay the classic lines better than the Camaro does IMO. I'm a HUGE mopar fan, and a HUGE Challenger fan, and the new car simply takes everything I love about the classics and makes it modern and reliable.
