Re: Want A No Hassle Deal On A 09 Challenger

You know the worst part of the Canadian deal, IMO atleast, is that the dang car is being built in Canada. WTF is up with making those guys wait so long for ANY info. I know its a US company, but dang, they should get some atleast get some info if for no other reason than they put it together for us lol

Re: Want A No Hassle Deal On A 09 Challenger

Originally I was very excited about the prospect of the possibilty of buying a new Mopar with all of the new technology that I could enjoy along with my other 2 toys. I even went out and bought the vanity plate for it. When it became obvious that only the guys with the deepest pockets stood a chance at them, I ordered the vanity plate for the next year. It now seems that we are getting to the point where the 09 will also be unrealistic in price. I am quickly losing interest and would rather go out and spend my money on a vintage muscle car. Then I would know what I am getting, when I will get it, how much it will cost and will probably cost less. I think I have had enough of all this nonsense from Chrysler Canada. As an aside, the assembly plant has hosted a vintage car show in the parking lot each year. I have just heard that the people incharge are no longer interested in participating this year.

I'm not quite so pissy today, but very glad I am not the only one who's frustration level is getting near a breaking point.

info on the 09's in months? compare dodge.com to dodge.ca and you'll see that the US site already has tons more info about the 09 than we do about the 08.

And if ResumSpeed is right (and he almost always is) then you'll be able to start ordering your '09s in a week or so, which means you'll have nailed down prices and orders for 09s and Canadians still won't know how much an 08 costs.

go figure.

I have never known Resume Speed to be wrong. He is always on target, and is a wealth of info.
