Re: Weight Difference of Dodge Challenger?

In a perfect world. We all, I am sure, hope it does come in at a weight, that if heavier than its intended competition, will still be a weight gain of only a few hundred pounds at most. Otherwise the 'competition' aspect will be out the door...all other issues being relative.

I'd bet you're right in the ballpark with 3900 pounds, ekool - the car's not that much shorter, wheelbase-wise, than a Charger. And even with "only" 425 hp and 3900 pounds it will be a very sweet ride.

But I'm strongly hoping for a street version of the 392 crate motor to be a super-option for this car. If so I'd be looking for at least 380 hp at the flywheel, & 400 torque.

Woooo Hoooooooo!!!

Dittos on the props & kudos, ekool - great to see that you've opened a special forum for this very special new ride.
