I finally got my kids cars shipped to them and now that my garage is empty I can start ordering upgrades to my "Black Beauty". Too many folks have asked if the T/A hood is functional, my answer has been "not yet". Looking to get that vent system and a cold air intake, as well as scrapping the factory 18" base model wheels(why they put those on a R/T Plus I'll never know) with a set of Moda MD14 in black. Along with a wider rear tire this will complete the "muscle car" look, debating on a taller rear as well to give it a raked appearance.

Sunday -- took a pink eraser to the black trim on the bottom next to the paint where the polish ran over on the black plastic. Finally, after waxing the car on July 4th. The real reason...to get out of hanging the Christmas decorations on the patio.

Stopped by the body shop to check on my car. It had been damaged by lots of roof shingles blown from a nearby house during hurricane Sandy. I'm lucky my house wasn't damaged but feel terrible about the car. On the brighter side it will probably come out looking better than ever. The guy working on the car is a perfectionist and I'm sure he'll do a great job.

Yeah, martino is amazing. If you get a chance go over to their shop, and you'll really see the quality of the work they do. I'll bet they've got maybe 2 3 ferraris, a chance at a gtr, some lambos, bentlys, maybe a maseratti, a bunch of bmws all in the shop or on the lot.
And the owners are great, derek joe and jon
