What happend to the Half Shaft problems - Dodge Challenger Forum: Challenger & SRT8 Forums

I 've read here on the forum about some drive shaft problems with the manuals. Has that been taken care of yet?? Has any one there having any problems with the manuals in the Tranny or shaft department?? Has there been any TSB's released. Let us know.

Yes all 09 SRT auto and sticks got larger shafts with more splines on them.

they upgraded everything, but if i had a set of drag radials, i dont think the shafts would hold up lol. This car with the stick shift is awesome

I am new here as far as the Challenger but are you referring to half shaft problems with the older LX's? They upgraded the half shafts along with a few other things because of the new manual transmission. They did the autos too to make things easier on the line.

Do the RT six speed cars get the upgraded axles also?
