You'll have to get out early, because it won't be long after that car is released that those 'stangs will be hunted into extinction.

Re: What would you do with a Challenger???

I would probably only drive it occassionally (a couple of times a week) in good weather. I have a 69 Charger (383) in storage, but always wanted a classic Hemi and this will be the ultimate substitution and I would drive it like I would the classic.

Re: What would you do with a Challenger???

As for me, I'll replace my '65 Vette Coupe with the Challenger as my "toy" car, get rid the family sedan as the kids are all grown and married, and enjoy the beast as often as possible! Despite being an o-so-unique vehicle, it's a car. Cars are meant to be driven. And the HEMI meant to be driven, hard! First item of business is to blow the doors off my brother's '06 Mustang GT!

Re: What would you do with a Challenger???

I would install larger injectors nozzels,
bump the rear gears to a 3.73:1,
install a borla exhaust with the factory chrome tips,
short throw shifter, if needed,
larger brakes up front and
reprogram the computer.

If the fuel cap is on the fender, custom billet cap.

Cool Re: What would you do with a Challenger???

Hi All, I found my way here by doing some research on the Charger. I am thinking of getting a Charger SXT with the 3.5, sorry but the price of gas won't allow me to get the Hemi. Perhaps you could convince me otherwise. So, I am also puzzled that the Charger is a 4-door car. But I'm getting over it. It's still a nice car. BUT, now that the Challenger buzz is out, I think I should wait. Some news suggests an '07 Challenger, some another year longer. I think I'll wait until the fall of this year, and even then, I'll save on a year-end discount.

.

Re: What would you do with a Challenger???

Man I can't ruin the value of this car. That's why I have the srt-4 this will stay the daily driver. The Challenger will be a weekend and no rain toy. Maybe once or twice to work, she'll be my baby.

Re: What would you do with a Challenger???

Since my wife has a SUV, it would be my DD. The only other passenger is my three year old, which will be five by release, which means she can crawl in and out by herself!
