Re: What are you changing.
Going to take the factory 20 inch rims off and put on Centerlines to drop some weight, especially unsprung - figure I can drop 125 lbs off the car. Will put some Goodyear Eagle GS D3 tires which I have had really great performance with on two other cars especially when it gets wet... Would like to see if a set of 255/55-18 tires will fit without issue,,, they have 10.04 inch section width and 29.04 diameter. Hopefully will fit and fill the wheel well out nicely with the RT sitting an inch higher.
I am looking forward to the aftermarket items shown at SEMA and coming out in 2009. A Carbon Fiber hood is high on my interest list. Of course, will get a different pistol grip shift knob (I wonder if Hurst is going to come out with a shifter since they are making the Hurst Challenger) Pure Performance wise, I am going to wait and see how like the performance stock and see where I want some extra umph (low end, mid range, top end) based on how I drive the car.

Re: What are you changing.
Oregon requires both front and back license plates. With certain exceptions that include collectible or specialty cars. I didn't check the full code on the exceptions. I do know that I can fit the Chally in that class. However, the dealer automatically drilled the holes and mounted the plate frame.
Now trying to decide the best corrective actions. Yeah, it does suck when I take it to a few of the shows. |
