Wink Re: What's Better Looking - Charger SRT8 or Challenger??

viper= super model, sleek and gracefull, expensive and out of reach, everyone is always trying to take it from you.

Challenger= cute girl next door with great personality, play your cards right and she is yours and will be real good to you.

Charger= friends hot mom, ok to look at, but unless you have your own kids you need to move arround, you aren't really interested.

this has been a test of your sense of humor, it is only a test..........beeeeeep

that being said, I drive a 2001 Ram 3500 quad cab 4x4 dually diesel 6 speed = Amazon warrior that growls alot, a bit wide in the hips, and is in it for the long haul......and I wouldnt have it any other way.

Don't get me wrong, the New charger is a great looking car. But its not a Charger. For one, its got 4 doors. Looks like complete ass when painted as the General Lee... granted some may think that paint job made the original Charger look like ass too, but thats another story.

The 60's are over...deal with it.

The new Charger looks just like what Chrysler intended--what the Charger would have been had it stayed in production all these years. A lot more true to its roots than quite a few other old names still in production. And it follows the same formula as Chrylser used in 1966 when the Charger was the "sporty" version of a Dodge family car--Coronet. Hey, guess what. Its the same today; a sporty version of a Dodge family car--Magnum.

Today's Charger is more of a Charger(whatever that means) than the '75 -'79 car was. In terms of performance, the new car is "more of a Charger" than the third gen cars too. Same or superior acceleration, but a hell of a lot better handling.

The new Challenger has no flies on it either, but it does look somewhat swollen up, with all dimensions noticeably larger than the old car. In fact it is really too big to be considered a "pony car". Just another sports luxury coupe. The original car is a lot better looking than the new one.

Re: What's Better Looking - Charger SRT8 or Challenger??

I`d say the Challenger looks better but if ya need 4 doors get the charger which is more of a charger than most 60`s -80`s chargers were.A family type car with power and looks.
