Re: Whats going to be your personalized plate for your challenger

I considered this for my Charger but declined due to Colorado charging extra to get a yearly renewal for a personalized plate. We get screwed enough by the DMV.

Thanks! I can't tell you how much crap I get from some people I see on campus when they see the brand new Shelby. "Why didn't you get a real car like a WRX/EVO ?" or You spent 40K on that turd? Then when they find out about the Challenger the go ballistic. Why didn't you get a new Skyline there gonna be so fast...

Thanks on the stang! I'll say that to help hold ya over you should really check em out. Go for a test drive and have some fun, or go rent an auto from Hertz. I was gonna get a plain ol GT and mod it, but when I saw it was a Shelby my mind was changed real quick!

It's just great to have people try to tell ya how to spend your money! Usually those guys back down as soon as you give em a rev and a challenge.

You have it right!
Keep it up we old schooler's like to know you guys are out there re-establishing the muscle heritage we all grew up with.
I am also amazed on how pepole do the same ,tell you how to spend your hard earned money like you really care what they have to say.
A suggestion is fine but a smart ass comment only means they are jealous!
That v8 left stains in there shorts when you rev'd it!!NO doubt!

There is nothing better than the sound that emits from a hi-po v8 damn glad to know the whole world hasnt gone rice!
Soon I will rent a new gt or did you say hertz has the Shelby still?
I rented a gt ,and older model a few years back down in the Key's the drop top was amazing and the wife really misses her convertible 900 turbo saab which I traded for my vette a long time ago now.
I still have the scars from that day,boy was she pissed!
Im about due to make her dream of a drop top come true and I was thinking Mustang this fall when my bonus hits, any suggetsions surrounding the gt would be appretiated.
I looked at the solstice,no way its a death trap weak brakes and way to cramped,Im leaning BMW but Id like to see my garage packed with more interesting cars .
I do have a 9c1 (LT1)caprice which is a very low mile shift commanders old ride I drive for work now and then I cant tell you how cool that car is,however it sucks gas worse than my old SS El Camino did.But those damn push bars up front still scare people when I sneak up on them.
Now thats a cool car Gm should bring back! The El Camino with an ls2 in it.

Damn glad to know yah.

Re: Whats going to be your personalized plate for your challenger

My plate is 08CHLNGR or 09CHLNGR. I have both depending on when I get my order placed
Always wondered why people would put the model of the car on the license plate. Like yea, we know its a Challenger, the badges already let us know..

To each his own..

Im going for ChllngU
