What's the latest w/ B-5 Blue SRT8's ?

Saw my first '08 SRT8 Challenger, in Black, today. Marvelous car. I want an '09 B-5 Blue SRT8, w/ 6-speed manual trans, with Trak Pak.

...any idea when they will be produced?

Right now the only information we know is that it's "planned". No dates, though. Given the current situation in that SRT8s may be closing up for orders pretty soon here, if I were you I'd find a dealer and express your extreme interest and try and get them to call you ASAP when b5 blue is available. Then hang out daily on the forums here waiting for news. Something is telling me that grabbing a B5 Blue SRT8 is only to be one TOUGH thing to do.

Is an B5 blue SRT even possible. I thought the rumor going around was that B5 was only going to be on a special "Classic" package on the R/T?

Rumor has it that SRT's will be available in B5.
I would place an order thru one of the dealers that are on here with a small deposit to insure you get one.
I too expect them to be very rare.

That's cool. Regardless of model that color will look great on the Challenger. If i wasn't a big baby I would hold off and wait for a B5 R/T. But since I am I ordered one in Tor Red.

I know what your saying back in January I had seen the black and all other colors as well and Im still drooling over that black SRT8!
Had to have one from that day forward.

For those of you with a 2009 Dodge Challenger brochure, look at the back where the nine colors are displayed. You'll notice that the B5 Blue hood is the only one showing the hood stripe. I took this to mean that this color would only be available on SRT models. Take a look.

I could be wrong though.

Will someone with the '09 Challenger brochure PLEASE tell me what colors (PM is fine!) are being offered, as my local dealership doesn't even have '08 literature (nor their first vehicle), and refuses to even discuss '09 offerings!!!

I really hate California sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!
