What's missing?

Well, we know what the 08 and 09 Challengers are going to look like and the options available? What would you like to see for 2010 and beyond????

Re: What's missing?

A manual for the SE, some weight reduction, a vert, and finally just a developed after market from mopar. Mostly steeper rear gears for the autos, I'd really like to be able to put a 3.92 in the auto SRT.

Well, I have to say I was surprised at the 4,000 plus lbs weight of the Challenger! This will clearly be handicap compared to the much lighter Mustang and Camaro. That said, the Challenger will be a better riding and possibly better handling car than the former two. This also gets back to my other posting about fuel mileage! While, some don't consider the issue as much of a concern. With $3.50 per gallon and only going up.........makes one ponder if History could repeat itself? Remember, high fuel prices and insurance rates doom the original muscle cars of the late 60's and early 70's! As a matter of fact I figured Dodge would follow the suit with the 300, Charger, and Magnum........offering a 2.7L as the base model and then moving up to the 3.5L, 5.7L, and finally 6.1L.

Personally, I would like to see the 5-Speed Auto as standard on the S/E! Beside being stronger I believe its also better on mileage? Clearly, a win-win!

I think the 2.7L is going to fade out when the 4.0 hits.

Re: What's missing?

A 'Cuda model with either a shaker hood or an AAR hood.

Also, side megaphone exhausts, AAR-style side striping and hood pins.
