When does Traction Control work?????

Ok, so I got my SRT8 back yesterday with the Maganacharger installed. It does seem as if without turning of traction control or ESP, if I hit it hard from a stop, it will still spin a LOT! I can probably lay 50 ft it seems. I have to get out there more today as I got home late, but does anyone else notice anything like this?

I was thinking slight spin, and that's it. I did also notice last night that once I was already moving, and then gave it a little hell, the traction control light came on, and it seemed to work fine. Is it different if you are stopped or almost stopped?

Save the crazy comments, I have searched for this already, and of course I know what traction control does as I have it on 3 other cars. Just wondering what others experience with their Challys. Thanks!

It must be your tune. My stock R/T will let me haze the tires on a hard launch, and will chirp 'em on the 1/2 and 2/3 shifts with ESP full on. If I purposely try to smoke 'em with it on it will only go maybe 10 or 15 feet before it cuts the fuel. With ESP full off it'll smoke 'em until you hit the rev limiter.

I imagine with a supercharger the ESP was programmed to allow more aggressive driving before intervening.
