When will 2013 Production Numbers Be Available?

Hello, although I am new to the Challenger world, when does Dodge release the production figures as I would like to know how many 2013 SRT Cores were built and if there is a specific color and transmission breakdown, in doing a dealer search within 200 miles of me I only found 1 other Hemi Orange Core and that was an automatic, mines a 6spd. Thanks.

From Dodge

2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8

Plum Crazy:340
Hemi Orange:59

Will have a total of SRT8 units built for 2013 in the coming days. Sorry no better break down than that. If you are an owner and provide a VIN to Dodge/Chrysler they will answer your Questions.

There is no real differnece between the "CORE" or the "392"
The "CORE Model" is just lacking all of "Bells and Whistles" of the "392"
So all they do is consider it an SRT8 Unit.

But Plum Crazy and Hemi Orange not to be confused with Header Orange were the Limited run cars for 2013.

'70 PCP RT/SE which I never should have sold. JS29NOE127613. If you've seen it, let me know!

Thanks CivilEngineer42 for the info.

Makes my Core one of 59 Hemi Orange SRT8s made. Back when the cars were for sale over the summer, I checked Dodge.com for Hemi Orange Cores and found only 21 others besides mine around the country. Obviously there could have been a few others, but at least there were a minimum of 22 Hemi Orange Cores made.

Thanks Again.

Production Numbers

Glad to be of help. Wish I could get a better break down for you but cars are very different today. Options are done as groups these days. So to get more detailed information you need to call Chrysler and give them your VIN and they will get the break down for you. It takes a couple of days but they get right back to you. But dont get in touch with Chrysler proper get in touch with the SRT Group.

Like my PCP 2013 SRT 392 with the X21 Perfered Package, Harmon-Karden Up Grade, U-Connect 730N, Rim And Tire Up Grade, and Power Sun Roof, and Mopar Appearance Package. 10 Built with all of the "JUNK" out of the 340.

X21-6 Speed Manual
X22-5 Speed Automatic

Not too sure if that applies to the "CORE" Model or not. Check out your Sticker and let me know.

To the RT Guys. Get in touch with Chrysler and give them your VIN and they will look it up.

Best Wishes

I emailed Dodge and asked about how many TorRed RT Classics with 6 speed were built and I got an answer three days later saying that those numbers won't be avail until in late February.....

I ended up finding from my salesman through a contact of his at Chrysler that only 25 RT Classics in TorRed with a 6 speed were built for 2013 model year.

My guess is that they thought I meant calendar year and not model year even though I clearly stated for the model year.

TorRed SE Model purchased: 2/05/09 (gone but not forgotten)
TorRed R/T Classic ordered: 4/06/13
R/T Classic born on: 6/04/13
R/T Classic delivered on: 6/21/13
Mods installed:
Mopar CAI
RiderGraphix spoiler graphic
Skip-to-shift eliminator
Cursive Challenger on grille
Engine Cover air brush painted
Billet under the hood stuff
MOPAR door sills
