At least you have an order in. I am on a list to even place an order on a 09 still....

This is Bait and switch and its illegal.

Not cool they get millions in deposits as interest free loans and we get bull**** excuses.
Not to mention you get a car you didnt want!

If this is any bit true Ill buy anything but a Dodge now!
A convertible shelby is looking better all the time and a hell of alot more car for the money !
If they do this we should boycott the car till the lots are over flowing with the things.
You got issues Dude...

In December when they announced they were building the Challenger and were taking deposits, it was pretty clear what people were getting. IF they have a problem with a automatic, then they should decline and wait 4 - 6 months for a '09.

I have read of people giving dealers a deposit on the Challenger before there was confirmation that it was even to be built and what were going to be included. That was their choice. If I agree or not that is up to them. Honestly, I feel the money can be better used elsewhere.

Your accusations are weak with little backing. Dodge has done a great job bringing us the Challenger a year earlier then the Camaro and they should be
commended.

We are all restless to get exactly what we want, and that may take a couple years for the Challenger to mature in comparison to the Mustang which has had 4 years to create a great option list.

I consider the wait for the 6 Spd option to be a minimal amount of time. Charger owners have waited years for a 6 speed and still don't have the option..
