Talking Who knew 20MPG could be so fun?

You guys, of course!

Since I finally bought my B5 SRT late last Thursday I have put about 300 miles on it with many SMILES per gallon. I cant believe the attention this car generates. I figured I would get a wave or two once in a while, but the SMILES are at practically every stop. It isnt just guys either. After coming out of a grocery store, a 70+ year old lady was telling me how nice my car looked. Her two granddaughters(8 and 5) liked it too. People have smiled and waved at me on Michigan Avenue(the mag mile) in downtown Chicago. Everybody has a story to share and the friendliness has been a VERY welcome change to the normal Chicago stranger-danger attitude.

I truly believe that the car companies have forgotten that STYLE is an important major component for automobiles. This car is like finding a gem in a pile of jellybeans...

Welcome to rock star status. Gotta love it.

FYI: You signature quote "it is what it is" was ranked #3 in the 2009 Marist poll as the most annoying things people say. See: Most Annoying Phrase: "Whatever" Reigns Supreme | AnnoyingStuff.com

The Challenger is by far the coolest car I've ever had (those with lots of $ need not reply to my post ).

That is the ONLY thing I hate about the Challenger. I went from 12 MPG with a Durango to 20+ on the first tank with my SRT - more than a 65% increase. I think it is a jealousy tax from greenies who dont like their Prius's because they dont get the attention we do!!!
