Re: Would the Challenger be your 1st MOPAR?

I've gotta get me one of these. People are surprised when they hear that I drive a Ford ('03 Cobra) but back in '03 when I bought it, the LX's weren't anywhere to be seen. Now, with a two door version of the LX in the works, I'm sold. Dodge has really done a great job on all of the LX cars and their quality is great once again.

It's been 10 years since I've owned a Chrylser (the old Turbo LeBaron - quick for it's day). I've spent the last year working with these HEMI LX's and with the introduction of the two door version, I can't wait for them to get released. I'm sold.

Re: Would the Challenger be your 1st MOPAR?

Heck, Turbo Lebarons are STILL fast man..

I've always been a Mopar man, from the day I turned 16 and could legally drive... I've owned 1 GM product in the past, but it was more for work purposes than anything... I have never, and will never, own anything made by the blue oval.. seen friends & family have WAY too many problems with them...

Current car is my 'project' 1993 Daytona

Thanks, I loved that Stealth. Most fun car I've ever owned so far. I've made a few posts in the SRT forums... I know a guy locally who's got an SRT-4 same color as mine, I'm gonna try to help him find a good carbon fiber hood, then I'm gonna buy his hood from him.

My first car was an '86 LeBaron GTS Turbo... and it was pretty quick! It had been sitting for 7 years before I got it though, had to pretty much rebuild everything you could without taking out the engine. It was fast! But a host of many problems, the brakes failed on me after about 3 months and I got side swiped.

Re: Would the Challenger be your 1st MOPAR?

Not by a long shot for me. My first was a '57 Sport Fury in '63. My latest was my second '68 R/T Charger in '94. At least 100 in-between. Mostly "B" bodies. In high school, my '62 Sport Fury HT (1 of 5 '62's I've owned) was a local street terror.
