Would you put this license plate frame on your Challenger?

My mother-in-law has been the bane of my existence, since her existence.

My wife drives the Challenger everyday and her mother has this problem with the license plate holder being from the dealership. Personally, I've never thought twice about it. I look at the Challenger 50 times a day for the last year, still it has never crossed my mind. I don't mind advertising the dealer that sold it to us, I had decent credit and was upside down on a brokendown SUV, and they hooked me up with a new Challenger.

Anyways, this lady is crazy. She bought these shitty bitch plates and will be seriously mad if we don't put them on. I already said I'm not putting them on, but this is going to cause a major fight. The lady is insane, she yells at kids that bounce their basketball while walking to the basketball court, and shes the craziest woman I've ever met in my life. Would you put these bitch plates on if it would avoid a fight with your mother-in-law?

I don't know what kind of car she thinks we drive. This is the equivalent of putting a pink bow on a rottweiler. It's a gangster with a life sentence getting a prison tattoo of a rainbow unicorn.

What are your thoughts CT?

I wouldn't put these on any car. Tell her it's gay and that if she keeps pushing she'll wear it as a necklace instead.

Hi Thrash. With all due respect to your MIL, this car belongs to YOU and your WIFE. If both of you like the plate holders that are on the car now, then I say leave them. If you BOTH like the ones MIL got for you then put them on. I am with you in that it is usually best to avoid a fight where possible, but I would imagine if MIL feels she can force you to get your plates on your car switched to her liking what will be next and where would it stop? Just my $.02 and I hope this gets resolved for you peacefully in the near future.

I say to keep from causing problems, you go buy some new ones for your wife that you picked out. Then you can tell her that you wanted your wife to have the ones you got her. Can't feel too bad about that.

Man, I think she's doing it to get under your skin. Put yourself in her shoes. I won't fight tooth and nail over this. But that's just me. I'm not exactly the type that let's people push them around, but at the same time I'm not the type that likes to confront people unnecessarily.

In the end, just do your thing.

Love all the responses.

I might accidentally break it while putting it on, I think thats the best solution.

Yeah, except she'll buy another one and then you'll be forced to put that one on or have the fight then AND admit you broke her gift on purpose. Be a man.

My thought is if she doesn't get pissed about the plate frames, there will be something else to get pissed about. So don't put them on and you won't have to worry about what is behind door #2.
