are you going to drive it, store it or flip it.....

...I know many people have these ordered hoping to make a few $$$ on it, thats okay by me.....some will store them away for future generations to marvel, thats okay too...I plan to drive mine, a few mods, and have a good time with it....just like 1970, there will always be more, brighter colors, more horsepower...it will never end

Cars are made to be driven.

Re: are you going to drive it, store it or flip it.....

I'll be using mine as a DD as well. I used the Shelby all winter down here and the same will go for the Challenger. We only had 3 or so icy days that I didn't drive my car. I may trade up to an 09 if I really like the six spd, but I'm gonna try to hold off so I can have 2 instead of one!

When I eventually get mine I plan to use it as a daily driver. Arranging some track time locally wouldn't be out of the question either.

Mine will be driven - Not everyday but on nice days and to go on day or small vacation trips. I've only put 24,000 miles on my SS and i've had it since '98 so this will probably be the same.

I'll have to flip a coin to which one gets driven, the '74 or 09.

Re: are you going to drive it, store it or flip it.....

I'll be driving mine daily -- even throughout the lovely winters Michigan has (I'll be buying snow tires, of course).

I can't justify spending this much on the car and then having it sit still for several months while I continue to have payments on it. You better believe I'll be driving it every chance I get.

Lets do this old school I think Ill follow your lead here and do the same and pickup some nice cheap American racing rims 20" with the black inlay crager style $250.00 a piece and slap on some blizzaks and just drive the hell out of it.
Just like the old days why the heck not!
I'm in Michigan also and we usually get some serious snow on the lake shore but nothing that had stopped me from getting out in my 9c1.

So hell yeah,all year!

Re: are you going to drive it, store it or flip it.....

Definitely driving it, much of the time. I'm going to keep my Durango to haul stuff, the kids, and for rainy days. But the Challenger's gonna see regular duty! You've got to give yourself permission to enjoy your toys!
