Nope, looks fine. Just roll with it.
Are you kidding me? That definitely needs to be addressed immediately! I'd be looking in other hidden areas as well, just in case you missed other spots.
Pretty sure the factory corrosion warranty only covers rust-through, or actual penetration. This looks like surface rust (but hard to tell from a pic).
I am a service manager at dealer and that is definitely corrosion or perforation you can see its under paint and coming up and out. You need document and repair immediately. Are you in a northern state? if it's in the trunk there is no way that it could be environmental fallout unless you ride around in the rain with your trunk popped. Good Luck. Every dealer is different but you should have no problem if you stand your ground. Best to find a dealer with a body shop so no one is driving your car to who knows where to have repairs made.
There is no way I would ever let a dealership body shop touch my car. If you want it done right the first time ask some custom car guys for recommendations in your area. Pretty soon the same name will come up over and over.
I spent many years building custom and prototype cars for Chrysler, Cadillac and Ford and I can assure you that not all body shops are alike. It's a screwed up business and most bodymen will change jobs at the drop of a hat.
Find a GOOD local shop and have it done right the first time.
Well if you want warranty to pay for the repair you will have no choice but on your own dime sure i guess that could be and option. Not all dealer are bad i put my customers first if the concern is valid i will fight for mine but can't say that for all. And if it's in the trunk it's not a fully finished panel any way no clear coat and so on.
I would absolutely make a warranty claim. It may fall under bumper to bumper or potentially the five year corrosion warranty. I just had rust repaired under warranty, outer body surface though.
