I think a 5.7/6-speed manual would be the combination for me. I just don't get much of an opportunity to go fast around here (too much police coverage), so as long as I get a manual transmission, I'll be happy.

I wish the 5.7 was more free-revving like the 6.1 though. GM's 6.0 LS2 is redlined at 6500, but my Hemi is redlined at a measly 5750 or so.

I want one in plum-crazy. 5.7 or 6.1, but must be manual, so my wife cant drive it. I'm gonna use it everyday to and from work, 365 days a year. No track here on Oahu, so just cruising around will have too do.

My preferences: 6-sp, high output 6.4L+ hemi. There are a number of interesting body/interior color combos I will look into. Plum Crazy, black interior. Black w/red stripe and Black or Red interior. My dream car would probably be Forest Green w/Gold Stripe and Chocolate Brown interior.

i will only get a hemi, hemi orange or black. keep it stock except for the exhaust. and i am going to wait a couple years to see if they are gonna make it convertible

I plan on buying early even if it doesnt have the zillion HP engine.

For me the joy of buying early is the looks you get from folks. When I got my 300C early it was constant looks and comments. Now? No one notices with so many out there and face it 95% of the people (100% females) will never notice you have the newest version with more HP.

Last week or whenever I heard of the new possible Hemi 5.7L Hybrid V8, i called up Dodge and asked a guy about the Challenger and if it would be possible to drop that engine into the Chally or if it would be offered at all. They said at this point, it is completely uncertain since the Hemi Hybrid is still in developement and the Chally is still in the conception stages of production. But with this new developement, I would seriously consider getting the Hybrid Hemi in the Challenger if they offered it. Maybe they could put this special request thru. It would be killer to have the first hybrid muscle car.
