Fog lights

Hey bud, what do you recommend for the Fog Lights? I have the Factory Xeon headlights, but the fogs are the yellow-orange color. What do you recommend replacing the Fog's with?

Re: Fog lights

I was thinking the exact same thing...it would be cool if the fogs were the same color and brightness as the factory HIDs

Fellas,
Give BFXenon a PM. I bumped up my 6000K Factory HID's to 8000K and converted the Foglights to 8000K HID's as well.
Lupoman, The Blue'r color is perfect for the Silver cars....Trust me! You guys will be very happy!!
Gregory

Re: Fog lights

I think the blue is cool lookin' don't get me wrong, but don't want to spend money replacing the HIDs i payed for as an option. I will probably give them a call later on when i have more money to spend to see if they can color match the existing hid lights with some hid for the fogs.

Re: Fog lights

Wanting to upgrade also, not to HID right now! Sylvania makes a 9145/H10 bulb in the Silverstar series of bulbs. I use these in my other cars for the low beams and they give a nice bright white light. The bulbs go for about $20 each average price.

Did not look yet, but is it easy to get at and change the fog light bulb.

Thanks

Re: Fog lights

Thanks for the heads up on the silverstar...they sound like they may be a cheap suitable solution. I don't know if this is exactly what you were looking for as well lupoman.

I'll probably check the manual tonight to find out just how involved switching out the bulbs on the fogs are. I will probably want to take one out before ordering bulb replacements to make sure i'm getting the right replacements.

Re: Fog lights

Hey Luopman!

Sorry about the delay! The factory HID color is a 4300K. We offer the H10 kit in the 4300K so that the color and light output are pretty much the same in the fogs as the factory HIDs.

Re: Fog lights

Does the bottom panel under the car need to be removed when installing the H10's?
