Saw this car this morning in a segment on the news. I did notice 7 on the shifter knob making it a seven speed trans...Is this a new tranny or have they been around for a while???

Interior looks good... glad they brought the Stingray back... I would have to see it in a Utube video or on the road to decide if I like the looks or not :/

IMHO, it's hideous. Honestly, except to resell it for a profit, I wouldn't take the "thing" if you gave it to me.
If I were going to spend $100K+ on a new performance car, I'd buy the Viper. However, as I have no desire for a $100K performance car, and given that budget for new, I'd look no further than the BMW 600 series of coupes.
I honestly can't stand the looks of that thing. The front looks like a clown on drugs and the rear looks an 80 cartoon vehicle. There is nothing about that that speaks corvette. Sorry, but I would take a C6 over that pile any day.

Cars are like women, if they don't have a nice looking rear end their just not worth tapping!!!!!!! the pedals that is lol,Ugly rear end, looks chinese, we all know that a corvette is just an extension of a body part for most guys, have you ever really looked at who's driving these cars, IE Alan Harpers of the world, so I guess the tailights won't matter much. I wonder for all that money if its got that cheap plastic interior like the camaro and other bowties.
I was beginning to think I was crazy or getting old because I don't like it either. It looks a little bit better in person (on video anyway) than in photos, though. Not to take anything away from its performance, and I don't have any issue with Chevy, but the styling has way too many japanese and italian cues. Stingrays don't have any angles or ribs. And Corvette should lead the way instead of following. I never liked those tail lights on the Camaro either, but maybe you have to see Transformers (I haven't) to be primed for those (pun intended). My $.02.
*Yawn*
Nissan GTR anyone ?-
They are styling the back like the camaro - which is the worst part of the whole car.
Great that they listen to customers - even camaro chevy folk which can't stand the rear end.
*Yawn*

I've always been a big fan of Corvettes, and I've owned a '72 Stingray for 15 years now.
The front of car looks a lot like a C3, especially the '80-82. The rear windows and rear of the car are just plain ugly.
The back looks like a modern Cadillac. Nobody likes those either.
I wish GM would learn than a classic look is better than weird. I don't want to drive an alien spaceship from Japan. I want a sports car that goes super fast that I might be able to afford. Lambo's don't do me any good... I'll never have an extra quarter million dollars lying around.
