I totaly agree that Dodge/Chrysler needs to offer the Challenger in "High Impact Colors" all the time, as well as the different color interiors. I've also read exterior Modding posts on this site about "adding" chrome bumpers to give the new Challengers a "Retro" look. Anyone look at the front "elastomeric" bumper on the AAR ' Cuda or the rear one on this Hemi 'Cuda? We had to pay extra bucks for the rubberized bumpers back in the day. IMO, I think the Dodge boys hit it right on the first time in 2008........now how about some "Road Lamps"...

They cannot use the 'Cuda name, it is owned by someone else. It will be Barracuda.

The Challenger will end for sure when the Charger/300 move off of the LX platform no doubt. We all keep hearing 2014 will be the last of the Challenger but no official word as a press release. The writing appears to be on the wall though.

I totally agree with you as long as they build the charger and 300 on the lx platform the challenger will be safe.It has to have sales to stay alive.

Dan Gurney but apparently Chrysler is trying to get (or may already have) it back.

Plenty of 2011 leftovers still available today.... Even in 2013 is the last model year, there will be inventory on the lots well into 2014.

Because SRT owners are so much better than the rest of us. You might as well have just come out and said it like that.

My wife just bought an SE for several different reasons. I have a supercherged Hemi in my truck and it scares the heck out of her. She is a small woman and just can't handle the power. I respect that. She loves the Chally and the V6 fits her better. Not to mention we couldn't pass up the price.

So if I ever pull up next to you in our pitiful V6, I'll still smile and wave because I will love your car and the fact that we have similar tastes.

...and you can snub your nose at me and drive away cause we drive a V-6.
Might as well be a Prius.

I didn't feel that vibe by sitedrifter's post. The SRT is the pinacle of the Challenger line up and aside from a little bit of exterior/interior badging there is not much visual distinction. For such a large diff in price I would want a little more separation too. Think about Ford (a company who got it right, lol) and the Mustang for example...there is NO mistaking a Shelby GT500 for its V-6 powered little brother.
