2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 (OB-PHOTO)

Got this beast for a day and I gotta say I loved it. Granted 9 mpg is not a desirable trait in this day and age, but what a car! From the clean lines, to the 6.1L HEMI, this car wore its balls on it's sleeve. The sound of the engine seemed to transform my right foot into a concrete block that I couldn't lift off of the gas pedal. If I could afford the gas I'd get one in a second. Anyways, here are a few of my favs from the shoot.

You can view the whole shoot here

Very well done, O,
Thanks for posting these. When will they hit Autobytel (or whoever)? We appreciate the early look. Nicely done digital post (do you do your own?). Love the tire marks on the floor in the last shot. I took your profile shot into Photoshop and removed the distortion, (couldn't help myself) and prefer the look without. Great understated light on that one. Looking forward to taking a crack at one, (I have a Black R/T in C status) though I'm just a digital imager, I'll have a little help from our photographer's assistants. But will largely be making it up on the set.

All those shots you got in one day. Man, that is good. I'll be lucky to get two.

Thanks man. They've still gotta write up a review on it so it won't be up till then. You can find these pictures on there though. As for the post, yes I do my own. It actually took me a couple days to finish this set because of the sky I dropped into most of them. Plus, being a black car, you see everything in the paint so I had to do a lot of touch ups. As for the profile shot, what distortion were you speaking of? Who do you work for if you don't mind me asking? And what is it exactly that you do?

I noticed the wheels were not circular, so I unperspectivized it. I can upload and link to it if you'd like to see it.

I work at a photo studio in Cincinnati, 'shopping since PS's launch in '90.

My favorite job of all time was getting to shoot and retouch muscle cars for the annual Ticona calendar, seen as a group here:

Here is that mild perspective correction with a bit of a grey ground reflection added:
