Ford made a late model mustang with a shaker (03-04 Mach 1) that passed crash standards I don't see why DCX couldn't. I would rather look at something like this than a HEMI engine cover. Nice one Ted.

I would preferr a T/A style hood, as the engines currently do not flex much anymore, so the shaker will shake much less these days.

rats, i was afraid someone would say that. that does throw the whole point of a shaker into question, doesn't it. i guess i would lobby DCX for a shaker hood only if the thing actually shakes...

Very nice. Well whatever they do for the trick hood scoop I hope Mike Castiglione designs it, to keep it consistent with the rest of the car. I personally like understated and mean (shaker) versus overstated and mean (snorkel). But I'll probably buy either one.

Nice T/A hood, too; this was always my favorite
classic Challenger hood, and if Dodge doesn't offer it,
i bet the aftermarket will have it available for the first year.
