The first cut is the deepest.....

Unfortunately, this one is going to need some stitches.

Some kid in a GTI making a left and failed to yield right of way. It was the ugliest sound I've ever heard.

Happened Sunday night, went to the shop Monday morning. Get it back this Friday.

Any guesses as to what the damages was appraised at?

Oh, and the insurance company paid for an interim rental, so I got this thing. Better than an econo-box, but it ain't no Challenger by a long shot.

Pretty damned close! No wheel damage. Considerable ego damage.

Thanks for the good thoughts. No one hurt, no structural damage, no problem...just an inconvenience.
