Re: First Production Challenger arrives
Sweet pics!! Nice scoop!! For being #0001, I'm surprised it is black and not HEMI orange! Don't get me wrong, black is awesome and the color I chose for my '09. I guess Craig Jackson got to choose like the rest of us who ordered!

Re: First Production Challenger arrives
Am I the only one who thinks the grille of the concept looks better than the production grille? I'm also wondering what the liklihood of the front chin spoiler being decimated by a parking lot berm will be?

Re: First Production Challenger arrives
I like the grill much better on the production version, those cross hairs were nasty. Now if they decide to change it up in a few years to match the '71, Ill be in heaven!

![]() From personal experience with cars with front air dams and spoilers, we will all have to be VERY careful (especially with the SRTs that sit 1/2 " lower than the other Challengers) to avoid nasty scrapes and cracks. ![]() |

Re: First Production Challenger arrives
The VIN had nothing in common with the dash # on my Daytona.

Re: First Production Challenger arrives
Does Chrysler just randomly generate the VIN #'s?

Re: First Production Challenger arrives
I hope for all you members here that Chrysler does have the vin#s match the dash# somehow, GM did this with the Indy Brickyard 400 Monte Carlo pace car I bought new in 1995, it was #70 and the last two digits in the vin# were 70. This kept anyone from just making a clone and trying to sell it as the real deal which could happen with the Srt Challenger if the vin# doesn't match. I'm sure Chrysler has figured on this?

Re: First Production Challenger arrives
I do not know how they generate the last 7 #'s of the vin
The last 7 of the vin were H293218 The dash # was 3521 Is it just marketing?
