I agree, but it's a dangerous road to go down, though. One day someone decrees that you're not smart or responsible enough, by their standards, to exercise your rights unless you're part of a powerful lobby. I've seen people here state that 'most drivers aren't skilled enough for' [a certain performance level], and how would they know or decide? And it's the kind of both elitist and lowest common denominator mentality that gives our own government the power to legislate things out of our hands (take our toys away).

I put this up at my desk at work! There is also a "ban the ford mustang" page on facebook. This poster and the mustang page have nothing to do with cars; they were meant to get people to think about the problems with some people's logic on gun control. The issue is not the guns, or cars, or whatever is used in the crime... the issue is the people controlling the items in a manner that they shouldn't...

My dad use to tell me "the worse thing someone can say is there ought to be a law against that." He is correct you cannot legislate morality.
The problem with the assault vehicle parody is too many people think that there ought to be a law against that. That thought just takes the fun out of having a little fun.

Why are they picking on the muscle car with the lowest HP option? What about the Corvettes, 505,636 HP ones? What about the Mustang's 650 Shelby and 1000HP models?
What about the Camero's 535 HP model?

Why is the 392 the poster boy for this when these higher HP car are out there?????

But wait....The reason must be because the Challenger is the best looking muscle out there! Dam, what was I thinking, I knew that all along!

It's no accident. It's because of demographics and the aggressive look of the challenger.
