no, the gap on the trunk.. it was a test vehicle. I'm sure it's probably not as refined as the rest of the line will be

ok it might just be me but those pictures look like a camero 68 and 69. Also, will the Challenger SRT-8 be considered a sports car because it only has 2 doors? How fast is she?

Jimbo - not to get into a pissing match with you...BUT

Damn right I'm gonna be "picky" when I'm spending $40 grand something on a new car that clearly shows a gap along the right side of the trunk lid. See the smaller image I have attached which narrows in on the area I am refering to.

Yes - I know this is probably an early production version - but sheesh I would have thought the show car would have been gone over with a fine tooth comb. And just so we are all clear here - the gap is very evident. It is not just an esthetic thing either. With a gap that large, I would worry about rain, snow, etc. getting into my trunk area.

But I am sure a retail car sold at the dealers will have this oversight fixed.
(And I also know I will surely be checking the "fitment" in this area.)

Re: L3it3R presents the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 (Philly Debut)

Very clean & detailed shots - like how the front is revealed gradually ; allowing focus on precise areas thus appreciate it better , rather than all at once with my eyes rolling all over it frantically hahahaha . I have a totally new appreciation for them tail lights in that close-up shot ... man I can't wait to see one in person !

This gap merits to be noticed on other Challys just to see if it's a one-car issue or a multiple car issue
