Very nice Hemifried. I noticed a stripe on the hood on one pic but missing on the other pics. Did you decide to remove the hood stripe?

Thanks adrake! You caught me! Yes when I first got the car I had a custom vinyl hood stripe put on the car which looked awesome under florescent lights.... but once I started going to shows in the sunshine over the summer it was really noticeable how off the color was... I'll do it again if I can ever find the exact color vinyl

My "Gertie" got a hand wax for our one year anniversary a couple weeks ago. I was talking to someone driving a Mercedes CL the other day and they said, "That color looks fantastic on there...very classy!" Win.

I'm usually not a fan of having BOTH hood and side stripes AND I'm also not a big fan of hood stripes that stop at the end of the hood and do not continue onto the front fascia,

HOWEVER...

In your case I think it looks great -- since you do not have the classic stripe "extensions", having the hood stripe just on the hood (and not continuing onto the front fascia) makes both stripes "line up". It just looks "right" that way.

I hope you find a color match to the classic side stripes and put the hood stripes back on.
