Re: Road map for my chally/Cuda conversion

The only thing that throws me off about the side shot is the gas cap. I love it on the Challenger, but I'm sure you know, the 70-74 Cudas never had it on the side. Don't get me wrong, doesn't look bad though. I think if you put the license plate up on the trunk lid between the tail lights it would look much better too.

Re: Road map for my chally/Cuda conversion

Yeah i hear ya about the gas cap..but it's one thing i do like about the chally and just as an asthetic decided to keep it. I could go with just a gas door but ehh it was strickly a styling I like it kinda decision.
I'm sure people will freak about 70 tailights on a 71 styled body but i figure this is all my favorite things about cudas. As for the license plate. well there really isn't enough room between the tailights to make it look right in my opinion and the back bumper is so slabby that the plate helps break it up a bit.

Re: Road map for my chally/Cuda conversion

if you want those tail lights you could get ahold of Metalcrafters in CA, they are the ones that build the concepts for chrysler and the cuda concept. give them a call, it'll cost alot, but they should have the drawings and maybe the molds from that car for the lights. if enuff people ask, they may start making the lights to sell. check out the web site they do sell grilles for the wrangler. just a thought guys.
