Houston Area

I know there's the Space City LX club, but has anyone thought about doing just a Challenger owner's meet up? What part of Houston is everyone in? I'm in Alief just southwest of Westheimer/Hwy 6.

Re: Houston Area

We've already got Challenger owners in the Space City LX club. More are trickling in.

So far, I've gotten a lot out of this club. A large number of the members have owned LX cars for years, and as a result have built up a large bank of knowledge regarding these cars. They also know which paint shops to use, who to go to for striping, mechanical shops to use, dealers to use (partnership with two in town) and they even have a preferred lawyer for traffic violations! Hanging out with this crowd has really opened my eyes to how much is out there for these cars if you know which people to talk to.

Can you say paddle shifted automatics? I'm just waiting for someone to do the first one for the Challengers. There are already 2 members in the club with the Mercedes paddle shifters installed. I'm sure others will soon. Looks factory.

They also really appreciate the Challengers. Come to a meetup!

Oops. Forgot to mention that I'm up by Beltway 8 and Clay Rd.

Re: Houston Area

I have joined but have not been able to attend a meeting yet. They sound like a good bunch of folks.

I live in the Tomball area.

Re: Houston Area

I'm in the Alief area and I usually pal around with the Dodge Talk. com crew. We meet up at Otto's near the Fountains every Saturday night.
I've been elected the VP of the Houston Mopar Connection Club for '09. Our monthly meetings are typically the second Sunday of the month at Hickory Hollow in the Heights.

Re: Houston Area

Missouri City. Still waiting on my SRT Challenger delivery so I haven't attended any meets yet.
But I am now in D status so I should be driving it by Christmas.

Re: Houston Area

Good to see some other Chally guys here. I haven't been able to meet up with anyone yet, hoping to change that soon, but we all know how the month of December usually pans out for people....insanity.
