Re: Houston Area

I think? I couldn't find much specifically on area meetups on the spacecitylx website. The big thing posted is the toys for tots drive but I can't make it.

But I am now in D status so I should be driving it by Christmas.
The Brampton plant is closed this week, another week for Christmas, and another week in January AT LEAST.

Unless your car is already on the line (D1+), it won't even be built until the end of January.

Sorry about that.

On the "events" page of their site, scroll down a bit and you'll find the whole schedule for 2009 monthly events. There's some neat stuff coming up this next year.

Nah, the action at Otto's is every Saturday night. We try to give a strong Mopar showing to all the Ford and GM's.

Yep. This month's an exception since we're having our Christmas party at the Hop on Nasa Rd 1.

Yeah, I was calculating how many days were available. 12/7 to the 24th gives me a small 16 day window for my car to get built, striped, loaded, and shipped to the dealer. What are the odds
So, I will see you guys at the first Kemah event in 2009.

Kemah is a good time too! When the weather is nice the turnout is great. Lots of really neat people with some awesome cars there. If the weather is decent, I may swing by there Saturday evening.

Kind of a long drive from Indiana isn't it? Or is that Idaho?

Re: Houston Area

I live in Chappell Hill, about 40 miles northwest of the beltway on 290W. We have our Prowler club meet up here every spring for a meal and then cruise the countryside to enjoy the "backroad" sights. I'm working with Space City LX Club to do something in the area next spring. I like the idea of a group of Challengers cruising together. We have driven in a "convoy" of up to 25 Prowlers down to Galveston. It's fun in late winter or early spring - not as much traffic. Sound interesting?

I'll be taking delivery of my 6 speed Hemi Orange SRT8 on December 15th. I drove my neighbor's new black 6 speed SRT8 last night. OMG Can't wait for mine....
