I am....from Florida to Boston to see my kids and new granddaughter. taking the long way home through Carlisle taking off on the 6th and back home on the 18th...about 3400 miles total
As far as I know, I'll be there. It's only about an hour away and my sister has been bugging me to go. I stopped going regularly when I tore my Scamp apart and it just wasn't as fun for me. But since I have a Challenger now, I'll take that until the other car is done. Hoping to meet some new people and have fun getting out again.
I've never been, and admit that I don't know much about it - but I'm looking to do a few road trips soon, and this sounds intriguing. Is it worth the drive from Jersey City/NYC?
I would say yes since I've been going for 25 years, and only missing two years. If you like old and new Mopars, you should like this. I heard that there was over 2,600 show cars last year. This is a national show, and people come from all over the country and Canada for this event. I posted up some vids from you tube to show what to expect.
You don't have too. The best day is Saturday, then Friday. Sunday most of the people have left, as they come from all over the country. I never recommend anyone to just go on Sunday.
I will be heading there for the first time. We've always done the Mopar Nationals because it was closer, but I've heard nothing but great things about Carlisle so I guess it's time to check it out.
Favorite cars were the 2 Hurst Challengers I saw today. One on main street at the light that I passed in my YJ and the other on the grounds. Hurst you put together a beautiful car!
Next I'll put my car in the show with or without the Whipple.
Was a HOT weekend, but that's usually the way it is, looks like the new Challengers are taking over, e-bodies had room to spare.
Glad to finally see GoMango up close.
